The New Updates to Our Web Site have taken toooooooooooo long!!! So much has happened since our last update........Let's see where to begin?
We had a great 4th of July with Joe's brother Lou and his wife Sally and our friends the Gorson's, Cree's, York's, Lounsbury's and Marshall's all enjoying our company, BBQ, and incredible display of fireworks that started at dusk and went well past 10pm.
Our friends the Cree's came up from Jamul, near San Diego, for 8 days over the 4th of July and we had the most incredible weather for the week. The weather seemed to improve every day until the last day when even the fog disappeared before sunrise.
(You'll find pictures of our 4th of July escapades here) We've had a busy year so far with a trip to Phoenix in January to help Joe's Aunt sell her trailer in a retirement park (ask us about the screenplay we developed while there). Then after discovering that Cheryl's car was way under it's lease mileage agreement we decided to take another road trip, this time to New Orleans for the Jazz Festival. And let's not forget the trip Graham and his family made down to visit us from Seattle at the end of May, we got to spend a lot of time on the beach and Donovan and Graham made the largest sand barricade I have seen on our beach (Way Cool). And finally for something new ! While Joe was setting up the Hot Mail accounts for our trip he experimented with setting up a "Community". Thinking it would be a way to communicate through the internet while traveling he decided to invite others to join. It has turned out to be useful and fun and is already being shared by our family and friends. Check it out for travel diary and photo updates from the road traveled by Joe and Cheryl.
